Colleyville, TX Event & Pet Photographer
A few months ago PS… Photography approached Tammy & John at Bark Avenue about hosting a fundraiser event together… and we were all so excited to do another project together! So after months of planning, creating and just flat out hard work PS…Photography and Bark Avenue partnered to host “Paws On The Avenue” a ’Fun-raiser’ benefitting the “Don’t Forget To Feed Me” Pet Food Pantry of Tarrant County . The event included a one-mile walk for owners and pets; followed by a festival of fun including doggie baths, nail grooming, pet photographs, goodie bags, raffle prizes and door prizes, cool treats for the pets, and lots more. Aside from the heat, it was a great way to spend a Saturday morning with family & friends, and in doing so, benefit such a great cause!
The “Don’t Forget To Feed Me” Pet Food Pantry’s shelves are empty and they really needed our help. With our current economy many families just can’t afford to feed their pets so they’re forced to drop the pet off at a local shelter. Once there, the pet’s future is one of uncertainy! The “Paws on the Avenue” event is geared to raising awareness of this situation while helping families keep their pets. And we are so excited to have one of Bark Avenue ‘s suppliers, Nature’s Variety, agree to match the amount of money raised toward our total pet food purchase.
This event is the first of what we hope will become an annual event for us. We’ve been so blessed to have about 15 corporate sponsors to help us out this year. The event was scheduled on Sat. August 6th at Bark Avenue in the Colleyville Town Center.
